Trim levels in the new Chrysler 300
The Chrysler 300 offers Rhode Island drivers a choice of four different trims:
- Touring
- Touring L
- 300S
- 300C
While there's great value in the base Touring model, the Touring L is a great reason to make the short drive from Providence on I-95 South and RI-4 South to visit our dealership. The L trim comes with a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine and you can have your choice of rear- or all-wheel drive. You can also move up to the 300 S trim and get your choice of available HEMI® V8 engines. The high-end 300C model will give you the best in performance.
Engines and performance
The new Chrysler 300 gives you a choice of three engines. You can get all-wheel drive with the standard 292-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine, which will propel you to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds. The big 5.7-liter V8 with rear-wheel drive has 363 horsepower and will hit 60 mph even faster at 5.3 seconds. The best available engine is a 6.4-liter V8 with 485 horsepower. That engine is available only on the 300C and it can take you from zero to 60 MPH in just 4.3 seconds.
Fuel economy
For a big, comfortable sedan, the Chrysler 300 does surprisingly well in making a gallon of gas go farther. With the V6 engine, you can get up to 27 MPG on the highway with rear-wheel drive. The 5.7-liter HEMI® engine can give you as much as 25 MPG on highways around Warwick and Cranston RI.
Interior comfort
Move just one or two steps up the trim ladder to the Touring L model or the 300S and you will get features like power-adjustable front seats, genuine leather upholstery and dual zone automatic climate control. Heated and ventilated front seats are available on all but the base model. One of the things you'll appreciate most about the new Chrysler 300 is that interior surfaces are well put together and the cabin does a great job of muffling out road and wind noise giving you a relaxed, quiet ride.
Infotainment technology
All of the Chrysler 300 models are equipped with an 8.4-inch touchscreen to manage Chrysler's Uconnect software. The touchscreen is backed up by physical buttons and knobs to make audio and climate easier to manage. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ come standard and so does HD radio. At the top 300C level, you can get a standard 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium stereo system.
