Let's face it, folks. The RAM Power Wagon has some pretty serious chops. With tow ratings at 10,750 lbs, 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque, it has beast mode down to a science. Better yet, it's always been leading the pack--all the way back to its introduction in 1946. Today, we'd like to take you back and show you what this pickup used to be like.
Back in the 60s, the Power Wagon had a much more utilitarian chassis. That's because it was designed from a military body, similar to the pickups used in the second world war. Power came by a flathead six-cylinder engine with 61 horsepower standard, and more torque than you can shake a stick at.
