The iconic Chrysler Town & Country turns 30 this year. Can you believe it? Since its introduction in 1984, the Town & Country has been a mainstay and come to define the segment as we know it. The current model is better than ever, and to enjoy it in all its comfortable, family friendly glory, the automaker is celebrating by offering a 30th anniversary edition to its drivers.
This special-occasion minivan comes with all sorts of extra bells and whistles, and interior stylings available in two packages for the SE and SXT trims. The SE variant boasts a piano-black interior, leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter, and is accented by silver stitching. On the higher SXT trim, the 10-way adjustable driver's seat is fashioned from suede and leatherette.
Of course, all 30th Anniversary Edition varieties come with special badging to mark the occasion.
Under the hood, the 30th anniversary edition will maintain its stellar and economic 283-horsepower Pentastar V-6 with Fuel Economizer feature. Other mainstay features such as Stow n' Go, the power lift gate, and winning safety are all present.
With 13 million models sold in 30 years, and with the Town & Country and Grand Caravan models making up for almost half of the minivans sold stateside last year, it's clear that this vehicle is one that drivers trust and love. Is that the kind of relationship you look for in your minivan?
